Rising Tide After School Program

Rising Tide is an after-school program for students in grades six through nine. Students will learn project design and development, team collaboration, tool management and use, and workshop safety through the building of a unique, student led project. Registration for a full session is required. No experience necessary.

Rising Tide follows Talbot County Public School weather related closings. If school is closed or dismissed early, classes at CBMM will also be canceled.

The Rising Tide program is generously supported by CBMM's donors. At registration, families may select the level of financial program support that would most benefit their family to ensure their child is able to participate in the program.

Appropriate clothing
Safety is our highest priority. Students are required to wear close-toed shoes in the shop. We provide safety glasses, hearing protection, and dust protection in the shop. We also recommend wearing clothes that are okay to get messy. The shop is not climate controlled and students should bring an old jacket or sweater in the colder months. Space is provided to change clothes, and students can leave work clothes at the shop if they attend classes regularly.
