Homeschool Day Session II Morning

Homeschool students and their adults are invited to come to CBMM’s Homeschool Day, selecting either a morning or afternoon program to focus on the technology and history of Chesapeake Bay. This season, homeschoolers will participate in the Tides of Technology immersive tour. In this STEM-focused program, students will explore how changing technology has impacted people of the Chesapeake for generations. Through tools, hands-on activities, and exploration they will consider the scientific principles behind some great innovations in Chesapeake boatbuilding, navigation, and engineering. Tour stops include CBMM’s working Shipyard and the 1879 Hooper Strait Lighthouse. 

Cost is $5 per person. Accompanying younger siblings 5 and under are free. All participants must register in advance.
